OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise, a tailored version offering enhanced security, extended context windows, and GPT-4 access, is gaining popularity in the corporate world. Recent reports indicate a surge in demand, with over 600,000 users signed up, marking a significant increase from just 150,000 earlier this year. The company’s COO, Brad Lightcap, heralds 2024 as the year of AI adoption in enterprises, anticipating continued growth and momentum.
Released in August 2023, ChatGPT Enterprise remains tight-lipped about pricing, though Reddit discussions suggest a rate of $60 per seat per month. Its predecessor, ChatGPT Team, comes in at $25 per user monthly. While specific business users remain undisclosed, OpenAI listed notable clients such as Block, Canva, the Estée Lauder Companies, and PwC upon introducing the enterprise service. Notably, over 80% of Fortune 500 companies’ teams have integrated ChatGPT Enterprise.
