Pixelynx, the metaverse company owned by Animoca Brands and co-founded by Deadmau5, has introduced new features on its AI-powered music creation platform Korus. The platform allows users to remix content using AI and licensed stem files made by artists and music labels, and then mint music to earn revenue. One of its main tools is the “Sound Mosaic,” a music composition algorithm that can compose music based on the uploaded stem files. Korus pays artists for their music and offers ownership of new content created using their stems. The company is also partnering with Reveal, an unchained royalty-splitting platform, to provide artists and creators with transparent royalties. Korus is introducing AI companions, soft currency, video recording tools, and a rewards program to enhance user experience and incentivize artistic contributions. Additionally, it plans to launch a web3 experience in partnership with Netflix’s “Black Mirror,” aiming to bring fans closer to the IP and worlds they love.
