Pecan AI debuts Predictive Generative AI to democratize AI predictions for business

Pecan AI, an eight-year-old startup, has raised $116 million in funding and recently launched a new tool, Predictive GenAI, which combines generative AI capabilities with predictive machine learning. The tool aims to simplify the process of building predictive AI models, making it more user-friendly for data scientists and individuals closer to the business side of companies.

The Predictive GenAI capability includes Predictive Chat, a feature that allows natural language queries through a chatbot-style interface, and Predictive Notebook, which uses generative AI to build a data science notebook for predictive modeling.

Pecan AI is also focused on automating data preparation and feature engineering, including addressing issues like data leakage, which can affect model accuracy. This automation aims to make it easier for non-professional data scientists to identify and address these issues.
