Roku, known for its presence in popular retailers like Wal-Mart and Target, aims to shift its image away from being seen as a budget TV brand and break into the premium TV market with the launch of its Roku Pro Series TVs.
The Pro Series TVs will offer Mini-LED backlit display with 4K QLED resolutions, local dimming, and enhanced audio technology, and will be competitively priced under $1,500. They will also introduce the new Roku Smart Picture feature, developed by Roku’s Picture Quality Tuning Team, which uses AI to optimize the viewing experience based on the content being watched.
Roku remains the top TV streaming platform in the U.S. and Canada, utilizing its platform-agnostic approach to stay relevant despite better-looking budget TV offerings in the market.
