Leonardo.Ai, a generative AI startup based in Sydney, Australia, recently secured a $31 million USD round of funding from investors like Blackbird, Side Stage Ventures, Smash Capital, TIRTA Ventures, Gaorong Capital, and Samsung Next. The company, founded in 2021, has gained seven million users and produced over 700 million images since December. Catering to creative industries such as gaming, advertising, fashion, and architecture, Leonardo.Ai offers an AI art production platform for both consumers and enterprise users. Its enterprise version includes collaboration tools, private cloud hosting, and access to APIs to build custom tech infrastructure. The platform allows users to save, edit, and build multiple assets in the same style, as well as create and train their own image generation models. The new funding will enable Leonardo.Ai to expand its enterprise product, hire more sales and marketing team members, and grow its engineering team.
