The deployment of autonomous security robots, named LoDoMus Prime and Dave, in downtown Denver has proven effective in reducing car thefts and vandalism by more than 70%. These robots, created by Knightscope, are 5½ feet tall, weigh 420 pounds, and are equipped with 360-degree 4K video recording, a public address system, thermal imaging, and gunshot detection capabilities. Despite the potential ethical concerns and previous mishaps with autonomous security robots, these machines are becoming increasingly common in various venues, including office buildings, airports, and hospitals.
