Oracle’s new offerings bring AI to your data, and manage it too

Oracle has announced the general availability of OCI Generative AI Services, a managed service geared toward enterprise users who want to leverage generative AI without moving their data from existing Oracle databases.

OCI Generative AI Services is designed to allow enterprises to build generative AI applications on top of their existing data store, making it more effective in using unique data and more economical compared to investing in additional infrastructure.

The service includes pre-built large language models and integrates with the LangChain development framework for using LLMs. It also offers AI agents to tie an LLM into other resources, such as the customer’s proprietary data, and Quick Actions for a no-code approach to deploying and fine-tuning language models.
